The Opportunity
Here’s your chance to bring your project leadership to a consultancy where the work genuinely matters.
You’ll manage a portfolio of mine closure and rehabilitation projects from concept to completion – coordinating design inputs, managing budgets and schedules, and being the trusted point of contact for clients and contractors.
Typical work includes landform and drainage design, rehabilitation cost estimation, and collaboration across internal design, geochemistry and environmental teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead multi-disciplinary closure design and rehabilitation projects
- Manage budgets, schedules and deliverables across several projects
- Prepare reports, scopes of work and design documentation
- Coordinate internal specialists and external partners
- Build trusted client relationships and mentor junior engineers
- Conduct occasional short visits to mine sites within WA
About You
- Degree in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical or Mining Engineering (or similar)
- Around 7–15+ years’ experience, ideally within consulting or mining environments
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end
- Strong client communication, stakeholder management and report writing skills
- Positive, hands-on and collaborative approach
Bonus Points For
- Landform or surface water design/modelling experience
- Cost estimation or mine closure planning exposure
- Familiarity with software like 12D, Civil 3D, Deswik or GIS tools
