We are looking for a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to work on our client project. In this role, you will manage and evolve AWS-based, PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure.

The role focuses on automation, reliability, and security across multi-account AWS environments and EKS clusters, supporting Ruby on Rails applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage AWS environments using Terraform (multi-account setup, IaC best practices).
• Operate and secure EKS clusters with ArgoCD GitOps workflows.
• Maintain PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure.
• Support Ruby on Rails/Sinatra applications and related AWS services.
• Develop tooling and AWS Lambda functions in Go.
• Oversee monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization.

Qualification:

• 5+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering.
• Expert in Terraform and AWS (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, Aurora, ElastiCache, CloudWatch).
• Production experience with Kubernetes/EKS and ArgoCD.
• Strong Go programming for automation and Lambda.
• GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and GitOps experience.
• Security-first mindset and AWS security best practices (IAM, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.).

Nice to Have:

• PCI-DSS or similar compliance experience.
• Ruby on Rails/Sinatra support background.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Karpenter, Helm, cert-manager, and external-secrets.

• EU/EEA residency preferred (for FSA compliance).
• Self-sufficient problem solver with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.
