My client is a growing advertising technology company.They aim to create scalable, data-driven platforms that optimize ad delivery and enhance customer engagement. To support their growth, they are seeking a skilled Backend Scala / Kotlin Developer with strong experience in Kotlin to contribute to the development of advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Scala and Kotlin, ensuring secure and scalable ad delivery platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance our digital advertising management platform.
• Optimize backend systems for speed, security, and scalability, ensuring ad data is handled efficiently.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating them with both client-facing and internal systems.
• Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely fixes to ensure seamless ad operations.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions, driving the development of secure and reliable backend services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with strong proficiency in Scala and Kotlin.
• Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating them into ad-serving systems.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail, particularly in performance-driven environments.
• An interest in Data engineering.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be located in Germany.
