The AI team at nexos.ai is at the forefront of R&D and innovation. Multiple research projects, POCs, and implementations are happening at any given time. In addition to R&D, team members contribute to product development, AI evangelism, and thought leadership. As an EM for the team, you will facilitate the engineering side of these processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Embrace the chaotic nature of an early-stage startup, spiced with rapid R&D and a constant push for delivery
• Take ownership of the design, development, deployment, and operations of the solutions/features the AI team develops
• Empower the team and ensure that it is set up to succeed. Set clear direction and expectations, and proactively eliminate roadblocks
• Lead and grow the AI engineering squad, providing guidance, mentorship and help them growLead planning and team velocity tracking activities to ensure that R&D and product milestones are met
• Collaborate with other squads, both engineering and product
• Discuss business solutions with stakeholders and other engineers, propose alternatives, or validate existing solutions
• Contribute to new talent hiring and ensure that the employee lifecycle is fully covered
  
  
  
  
  

Core Requirements

• Senior engineer's background with exceptional technical skills in application development - experience with AI/ML stack strongly preferred
• Experience in research, prototyping and rapid development would be a big bonus
• Proven technical leadership experience
• Curiosity for continuous learning in the AI field - including talks, articles and different knowledge sharing activities.

• Experience delivering SOTA technical solutions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product teams and other stakeholders
