Dashmote is currently seeking a Data Analyst Intern. This position is based at our Headquarters in Amsterdam.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that monitor clients’ performance.
  • Proactively suggest strategic recommendations for clients to enhance their performance.
  • Query and analyze large datasets stored in AWS S3 using Athena (SQL) or Databricks, producing accurate and actionable analyses for internal teams and client presentations.
  • Create automated reporting templates, transforming raw data into visually engaging summaries through notebooks or PowerPoint for client delivery.
  • Support data quality assurance (QA) processes by checking data deliveries for accuracy and completeness, leveraging this knowledge to refine insight generation and client reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Insights and QA teams to identify trends, data gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis requests and internal initiatives aimed at improving data coverage, consistency, and insight efficiency across markets.


Your Background:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated (orientation) with a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Econometrics, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
  • Familiarity with Python or Databricks for data analysis and automation is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets from cloud environments (AWS S3, Athena).
  • Solid presentation and data visualization skills - able to summarize findings clearly for both technical and commercial audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive in identifying data inconsistencies, trends, and opportunities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • A team player with a flexible mindset, eager to learn from cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, international environment.
