About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer based in Portugal to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks, focusing on building clean, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications using Jetpack Compose and Clean Architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin (primary) and Java (basic).
• Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose, XML, and Material Design Components.
• Implement architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
• Use Jetpack Libraries (AndroidX) for state management, navigation, and lifecycle handling (Navigation, StateFlow, ViewModel).
• Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp.
• Manage dependency injection with Dagger/Hilt.
• Implement asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines + Flow (preferred) or RxJava/RxKotlin.
• Handle local data storage using Room, DataStore, and EncryptedSharedPreferences.
• Utilize Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and App Distribution for analytics, monitoring, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions aligned with product goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Android Developer (3+ years).
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin; working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Firebase tools for analytics, crash reporting, and CI/CD.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Must be living in Portugal.
• Availability for hybrid work (1x per week in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra).
