At the intersection of proteomics, artificial intelligence, and digital health, we're building technology that prioritizes patient privacy through on-device processing and minimal data transmission. Following two years of product development, we're preparing for public launch in Q3 2026.


Role Description

We're seeking a Senior iOS Developer to own our iOS application and bring it to production standards.

You'll work with an existing Swift/SwiftUI codebase that requires professional refactoring, architectural redesign, and optimization. This is a hands-on role with significant technical autonomy where your decisions directly shape the product.


Your responsibilities:

  • Audit existing codebase and execute comprehensive refactoring plan
  • Redesign application architecture (MVVM to Clean Architecture)
  • Implement testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards
  • Optimize performance focusing on battery efficiency and on-device processing
  • Integrate HealthKit with privacy-compliant data handling
  • Establish iOS development standards and documentation for future growth
  • Collaborate with CTO on API contracts and offline-first architecture


Technical environment:

  • Swift 5.7+, SwiftUI and UIKit
  • iOS 15+, iPhone/iPad
  • Swift Package Manager for modularization
  • Core Data/SQLite for on-device storage
  • HealthKit integration
  • GitHub Actions + Fastlane for CI/CD
  • RESTful APIs (minimal - privacy-first, on-device approach)


Qualifications

Required:

  • 3-5 years professional iOS development with published App Store applications
  • Strong command of iOS architecture patterns and SOLID principles
  • Demonstrated experience refactoring existing codebases to production quality
  • Proficiency with modern Swift (async/await, Combine), testing frameworks, and Git workflows
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive technical decisions


Valued:

  • Experience with HealthKit, CareKit, or medical/health applications
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and privacy-first development
  • Previous work in startup or small team environments
  • Open-source contributions or technical writing
