Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services written in Go (Golang).
• Build and integrate high-performance RESTful Web APIs.
• Work extensively with PostgreSQL, including schema design, complex queries, and performance tuning.
• Analyze and optimize how the web server interacts with PostgreSQL (connections, transactions, indexing, query optimization).
• Implement data migration, query transformation, and caching logic.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end integration.
• Participate in code reviews and help define best practices for Go and SQL development.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3–4 years with Golang.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL – query optimization, indexing, partitioning, database design.
• Deep understanding of Web API architecture and backend performance optimization.
• Proven experience with data transfers, query transformations, and high-volume data operations.
• Strong knowledge of scalability, concurrency, and caching mechanisms.
• Professional English – written and spoken.
