About the Job

CoinTR is seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will design and build robust backend systems that power our trading platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that support CoinTR’s mission of making crypto accessible and secure for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external systems.
• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to scalable microservice architectures and support deployments in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) or on the cloud.
• Ensure code quality and reliability through unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito) and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Stay up to date with blockchain and crypto technologies, applying them to projects where relevant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of OOP, Collections, Streams, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and REST API development.
• Proficiency in SQL (queries, joins, transactions, indexing).
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good command of English is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in crypto exchanges, blockchain systems, or financial/fintech platforms.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with security standards (OAuth2, JWT, encryption).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
