A leading innovator in aquaculture technology is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their AI & Optics team.

The company leverages AI-powered computer vision and embedded systems to automate and enhance fish farming operations. Their advanced underwater camera system collects real-time data from thousands of fish daily, enabling smarter, more sustainable decisions for fish welfare and operational efficiency.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work alongside experts in physics, mathematics, cybernetics, and marine technology. Your responsibilities will include:

-Developing and refining machine learning models for image recognition and 3D imaging challenges

-Improving existing products and exploring new opportunities in aquaculture technology

-Building practical solutions and deploying them into production environments

The ideal candidate has this experience:

-MSc or PhD in physics, mathematics, computer science, cybernetics, or a related field

-Experience in computer vision, data analytics, and statistics

-Proficiency in Python software development

-Curiosity, motivation to learn, and a willingness to grow (motivation can outweigh experience)
