Job Title: IT Support Specialist

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to manage and support the IT infrastructure across our group of companies. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support, maintain system reliability, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple business units — including freight forwarding, trading, and sports facility management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily IT support to staff across all company branches.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 email accounts (via Etisalat).
  • Support and maintain the 3CX phone system and related configurations.
  • Resolve mailbox, connectivity, and user access issues efficiently.
  • Maintain and update websites for all group companies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for hosting, updates, and security monitoring.
  • Ensure reliable internet connectivity and network performance.
  • Manage and maintain network devices (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Procure and set up IT equipment, peripherals, and software licenses as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchases, and renewals.
  • Monitor system backups and ensure data integrity.
  • Implement and enforce IT security best practices across all business units.
  • Provide user guidance on IT systems, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintain IT-related documentation and procedural records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of IT support experience, preferably in a multi-company or group environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration and Windows OS.
  • Experience managing Etisalat account and 3CX systems.
  • Familiar with website CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
