Role: Junior Web Developer (PHP / JavaScript / HTML)
Location: Remote, UK Based
Salary: £30,000 + Bonus + Benefits Package
Working for a fast growth, SaaS based B2B organisation, this is an opportunity to really progress as a Web Developer / Software Engineer, working closely with a highly supportive and collaborative team.
You’ll work within an Agile based, cross-functional team, comprising of Software Engineers, SDET’s, QA Engineers, Product Owners and more.
We’re looking for at least 12 months+ commercial experience in a development role, we’re open to considering people that have either graduated and worked commercially or have recently undergone a career-switch, and has worked with PHP, ideally full stack.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK.
Essential
- Minimum of 12 months commercial software development experience
- Experience developing across the full stack (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL)
- Strong understanding of version control (Git)
- Confidence taking ownership of scoped technical tasks and delivering them independently
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and proactively improve code, process and knowledge
Desirable
- Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks
- Exposure to microservice architecture or API-based systems
- Familiarity with Docker, Redis or other caching/queueing tools
- Understanding of agile workflows (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with automated testing (unit, integration or end-to-end)
