Our client in the healthcare sector is seeking a Fullstack Typescript developer on a contract basis.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months + extension

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance TypeScript-based frontend and backend applications using React and Node.js.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our engineering culture, tools, and development processes.
• Support technical design sessions and contribute ideas for scalable system architecture.
• Learn from and collaborate with senior engineers while taking ownership of key deliverables.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and exposure to TypeScript.
• Proficiency in React or another modern frontend framework.
• Experience with Node.js or similar backend technologies.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for developing high-quality, user-centric applications that make a positive impact.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a willingness to learn and grow.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI or machine learning libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience integrating with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
