The Role

Our client is a Singapore-based SME IT vendor delivering impactful public sector projects. They are looking for an adaptable IT Project Manager to lead development teams, manage diverse technology environments, and deliver quality solutions in a fast-changing landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for public sector clients, manage expectations, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Plan and manage IT projects using agile, waterfall, or hybrid methods.
  • Identify issues early, manage risks, and adapt to client or technology changes.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams, vendors, and subcontractors to meet delivery goals.
  • Track costs, manage changes, and secure approvals for scope adjustments.
  • Learn new client systems quickly and adjust to different technologies and requirements.

Ideal Profile

Requirements

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record managing full-cycle IT projects, ideally for Singapore’s public sector.
  • Able to work across different platforms, systems, and security environments.
  • Strong in stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Comfortable applying Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches as needed.
