Goliath Partners has partnered with a fast-growing startup that recently closed a successful Series A funding round and is building out their core engineering team in their NYC office. They operate in a highly collaborative, fully onsite environment designed to foster rapid iteration, tight feedback loops, and product ownership from day one.


Founded by repeat entrepreneurs with previous exits, the leadership team has deep experience scaling early-stage companies into category leaders. They are now looking to add an exceptional Full Stack Software Engineer with founding experience to join as an early hire.


This is a unique opportunity to join a company at the ground floor and take meaningful ownership over product, architecture, and infrastructure decisions. You’ll work directly with the CTO and founders to help build the next generation of their core platform using modern technologies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Python (can include internships)
  • Prior experience at a startup or early-stage company (founding or early engineer highly preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you’ll wear many hats


Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience building MVPs, prototypes, and greenfield systems from scratch
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Understanding of API design, security best practices, and system scalability
  • Experience working with AI and LLMs


Compensation:

The compensation package for the ideal candidate will include a base salary up to of $200k, along with an extremely competitive equity component and benefits package.
