About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our client’s Material Flow Systems team in the automotive manufacturing industry.
You’ll work on building server-side software that drives material movement within warehouses, factories, and logistics operations — ensuring efficient flow across complex industrial environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact, large-scale distributed systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in manufacturing engineering, operations, and supply chain.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Golang
- Lead software development efforts from requirements to production release
- Contribute to system architecture and code reviews, ensuring high engineering standards
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with global teams across manufacturing, quality, and operations
- Mentor engineers and uphold best practices in clean code and software craftsmanship
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6–8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong backend focus
- Hands-on experience in Golang (Go), including concurrency, synchronization primitives, and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, SQL databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), and networking
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or similar orchestration tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Svelte) is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
