Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimation Engineer, located in Doha, Qatar. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting project estimations, and performing detailed quantity takeoffs. The role involves collaborating with project teams, researching cost-effective solutions, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices. The Estimation Engineer will also ensure that all estimates comply with project specifications and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and performing project estimations
• Background in Civil Engineering
• Strong research skills to find cost-effective solutions and alternatives
• Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors
• Experience working in the construction industry
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the same field and in Qatar
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
