Role Description

We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst based in Doha, Qatar. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining data integrity, implementing governance policies, and ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards. The analyst will manage data assets, support data classification and loss prevention efforts, conduct privacy impact assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in data management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the departmental Asset Register.
• Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) as required.
• Liaise with peers to ensure effective management of the Data Classification Tool.
• Perform an annual review of governance framework documents, including Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Standards.
• Collaborate with the GRC Specialist to compile and maintain the Data Privacy evidence list.
• Co-lead awareness sessions and facilitate training activities, where capable.
• Monitor operational needs related to Data Classification and ensure continuous improvement.
• Participate in the operating model to support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) integration and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in related field
• Proficiency in Data Classification tools, Data Governance, Compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with data governance, compliance standards, and cybersecurity is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are highly desirable.
