Product that needs your engagement

The Technical Support Engineer will be supporting dbForge, a comprehensive suite of tools that simplifies and automates routine database operations, helping developers and data professionals double their productivity. dbForge covers the full cycle of database development, management, and administration for SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other platforms. With an intuitive interface and powerful features always at hand, dbForge delivers real value at every stage of database work, from writing queries to deploying and optimizing solutions. Your expertise will help users make the most of these tools and keep their workflows running smoothly.

Your future team of professionals

You’ll be joining a Support team of 13 skilled professionals who specialize in providing high-quality assistance across multiple support channels: tickets, chats, calls, and more. The team works closely with developers, QA, and product managers to resolve complex issues, improve support workflows, and enhance the overall user experience. It's a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where your input truly matters and your expertise helps shape the success of our products.

The impact you will make

  • Communicate with users via Zoho Desk (tickets), live chat, remote session and occasionally via calls.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues using internal tools and resources (Jira, Redmine, Confluence, forum).
  • Work collaboratively with QA and development teams to validate and escalate technical problems.
  • Follow Devart’s best practices in providing consistent, high-quality customer support.
  • Contribute to improving internal knowledge bases and support documentation.
  • Assist in product testing and provide insights based on real user feedback.
  • Participate in occasional technical product demos for clients and new users.

Skills we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of technical support principles and customer-centric communication.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
  • Upper-Intermediate English: written and spoken, for effective user communication and documentation.
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Additional Skills We Would Appreciate

  • Hands-on experience in software testing or development.
  • Fluency in spoken English or additional European languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French).
  • Experience conducting technical demos or onboarding sessions.
