About The Company
Our founders spent a combined 25 years delivering hypercars, buses, and everything in between. Now, we are a technology startup with a singular vision: to automate the development of control software. We’re different from the rest. We do not build on top of 3rd-party LLMs. Instead, we’ve developed our own foundation model from scratch, using entirely novel technology. We’re not building coding assistants or automating snippets of code. We’re creating a standalone engineer that doesn’t need supervision or code review. In other words: true automation.
About The Role
DevOps & Backend role focusing on deployment and training of ML models in cloud platforms, requiring Python, C++, JavaScript. London-based preferred, 3-5 years experience needed.
The role is primarily focused on DevOps with some backend responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for the deployment and training of machine learning models on cloud platforms. The role requires proficiency in Python, C++, and JavaScript, with a strong emphasis on Python. The candidate should be capable of writing code, deployment scripts, and automations.
This is a multi-purpose role that involves initial setup and configuration, followed by development work. The candidate should have experience in standard SaaS deployment, as opposed to an embedded or industrial background, which is considered less favorable. The team already has expertise in hardware and embedded systems.
The role is suited for individuals with 3-5 years of experience in high-performance, high-ownership environments. Experience in startup scaling is preferred over specialization in large corporations. There is no requirement for data pipeline or ETL experience, as the team does not extensively use data pipelines. The focus is on standard SaaS deployment capabilities.
The position is a senior role with a three-tier salary structure, ranging from 80-100k, 100-120k, and up to 150k for exceptional candidates. While the role is London-based, it is not mandatory, although regular UK travel is required for remote candidates. The company is seeking a long-term commitment rather than short-term contractors, and a B2B structure is acceptable if the engagement is similar to that of an employee. Equity participation is expected.
The role does not include front-end responsibilities, as the current front-end is adequate and minor fixes are handled internally. Changes will be aggregated for future contracting when the volume justifies it.
