Role Description
We are hiring a Studio Lead to take ownership of Immersive Gamebox’s content function and drive the end-to-end development of our titles. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines creative direction, technical problem-solving, and team management. You’ll be accountable for delivering games that are on time, on budget, and world-class in quality and fun – helping define the future of immersive social gaming.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious leader to become a cornerstone of our growing content function – someone we can build around, and build with. You’ll manage a blended team of in-house creatives, freelancers, and external studios, with the scope to evolve that structure as you shape how we build and deliver content globally.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Game Delivery – Own the full lifecycle of Immersive Gamebox titles, from concept and prototyping through to production, launch, and live operations.
- Hands-On Development Leadership – Guide Unity-based development, solve technical challenges, and support your team in building innovative, replayable, and robust experiences.
- Project & Resource Management – Oversee timelines, budgets, and priorities to ensure every game is delivered to the highest standard, balancing creative ambition with commercial impact.
- Technical Strategy – Drive the evolution of our SDK and toolset, making smart decisions on workflows, pipelines, and processes to enable scalable, high-quality content.
- Team Leadership & Growth – Build & lead a hybrid team of in-house staff, freelancers, and external studios, while helping to shape how the function evolves over time. As the content grows, you’ll play a key role in building its capabilities, processes and culture.
- Quality Assurance – Build and manage a robust testing and QA process, ensuring every release is stable, reliable, and delivers exceptional player experiences.
- Reporting & Strategy – Report to the SVP of Commercial and the leadership team, providing updates on progress, risks, and priorities, while contributing to the long-term content strategy and roadmap.
- Innovation & Replayability – Push the boundaries of our proprietary Gamebox hardware (touchscreen, motion tracking, projection mapping, group interactivity) to create unique, industry-leading experiences.
Requirements
- Deep technical fluency with Unity.
- Proven experience leading or playing a major role in the delivery of game development projects.
- 5+ years of professional experience in game development, ideally across production and/or technical roles.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments – you thrive on problem-solving and ownership.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality content to deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and partners.
- 6+ years of experience in game development.
Nice to Haves
- Experience across XR/VR/AR, or other immersive platforms.
- Ability to drive the evolution of our SDK and toolset.
- Background in working with licensed IP and adapting well-known brands into interactive formats.
- Familiarity with live operations and content update strategies.

- £90,000–£120,000 base salary (depending on experience)
