We’re looking for a highly skilled UI Developer to join a dynamic engineering team in Sydney. This role focuses on building interactive, high-performance web interfaces and REST-based integrations using React.js and Express.js. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver user-centric applications that are both elegant and technically robust.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of UI architecture, data flows, and API-driven design — with a passion for creating seamless user experiences and writing maintainable, well-documented code.

• Design and build modern UI applications using React.js and related front-end libraries.
• Develop RESTful Experience APIs using JavaScript and Express.js.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and API integration specifications.
• Implement automation testing for UI flows to ensure functional and visual consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality features.
• Optimise complex UI dependency graphs for maintainability and performance.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context, and component lifecycle.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs using JavaScript/Express.js.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and data flow.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, or Jest).
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and handle API integration.

• Experience with Playwright for UI automation testing.
• Prior exposure to calendar or booking functionalities in UI applications.
• Familiarity with managing complex dependency graphs in large-scale React applications.
• Understanding of service mesh concepts or distributed system architecture.
