Role Purpose

The Data and Analytics team is seeking a Graduate Data Analyst to contribute our business intelligence services to the organisation. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leveraging your data and analytics expertise to build, maintain and optimize standard business report and bespoke analytics for the business. Interfacing directly with stakeholders across the organisation, taking charge of gathering business requirements, working with data engineers to develop necessary datasets and develop models and outputs that the business can readily deploy to realise potential value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of contact in the data and analytics space, liaison between data engineers and business stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and design efficient data and analytics solutions.
  • Conducting complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Designing visually appealing and effective data visualizations.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs.
  • Developing and maintaining data models and dashboards in Tableau.
  • Generating ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested.
  • Creating and maintaining interactive and informative dashboards for business users.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.
  • Automating reporting processes where possible.
  • Implementing data governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills (ability to explain insights clearly to non-technical audiences)
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn new tools, frameworks, and data technologies
