Your new role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of commercial and residential construction projects from inception to completion. Operating on the client side, you’ll liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional eager to grow within a dynamic project management environment.
- Assist in managing the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to construction and handover.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports; identify and escalate risks or delays.
- Support procurement activities including tendering, contract administration, and variation management.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including meeting minutes, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist in stakeholder communication and reporting, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
- Contribute to quality assurance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in client side or main contractor construction.
- Familiarity with Procore or similar programme software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
