Senior Network Engineer – Sydney (Hybrid working)

We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join an established in-house Infrastructure team in Sydney. This role offers a varied mix of project delivery and BAU support, with the opportunity to step up as the senior engineer across the team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, configuring, and supporting core network technologies including switching, routers, SD-WAN, Cisco, Zscaler, Clearpass and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Leading projects and contributing to BAU operations, ensuring reliable and secure network performance.
• Acting as the senior point of escalation within the team, mentoring colleagues, and setting technical standards.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders across the business, clearly articulating technical details in a way that supports decision-making.
• Participating in an on-call roster and providing support for business-critical incidents.
• Travelling interstate on occasion, supporting regional projects and teams.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience across a broad range of network technologies (switching, routing, SD-WAN and firewalls).
• Strong communication skills, you’ll be someone who can confidently present to the business and influence outcomes.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and support other engineers.
• Comfortable with travel and participating in an on-call roster.
