Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer with advanced level of English, to join a dynamic team working with a U.S.-based client.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, particularly with Laravel and database management, and will also contribute to migration efforts from PHP/Laravel to .NET.

Core Requirements

5+ years of experience with PHP 8.1 and Laravel 10

Strong proficiency in SQL Server and MySQL

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

Solid understanding of MVC architecture

Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps

Technical Skills

Laravel Eloquent ORM and database migrations

Authentication and authorization in Laravel

Laravel queues and background processing

PHPUnit for testing Laravel applications

Migration Expertise

Experience migrating from PHP/Laravel to .NET

Database migration from MySQL to SQL Server

Zero-downtime migration planning and execution

Data synchronization between parallel systems

Backward compatibility planning

Preferred Experience

Building applications for Microsoft Teams

Knowledge of .NET and C#

Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

Frontend experience with JavaScript frameworks (React.js preferred)

Develop and maintain Laravel-based web applications

Design and implement database structures in SQL Server and MySQL

Create and consume RESTful APIs

Lead migration efforts to .NET

Ensure data integrity during migrations

Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Troubleshoot and debug applications

Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
