🎯 Role Overview

As the Senior Product Manager, you will own a suite of three custom products spanning Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and AI. You’ll drive execution across a 10-developer cross-functional team to deliver high-impact features at startup speed in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.. This role is equal parts product strategy, executional rigor, and client leadership—you will be the primary client owner, translating outcomes into roadmaps, negotiating trade‑offs, and ensuring we ship the right things, fast, with measurable results.


đź§© What you will do

In this role, you will:

- Product strategy & portfolio ownership (3 products)

  • Define and continuously refine vision, strategy, and multi‑horizon roadmaps across Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and AI product lines.
  • Create clear product narratives and north‑star metrics; align stakeholders on goals, scope, and success criteria.
  • Balance domain‑specific needs with shared platform capabilities to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery.

- Client ownership & stakeholder management

  • Act as the face of EVOCS to the client: run executive briefings and QBRs, capture evolving needs, and secure decisions.
  • Translate client outcomes into prioritized backlogs; manage scope, SOW changes, and acceptance.
  • Proactively surface risks, options, and trade‑offs with crisp, executive‑ready communication.

- Team leadership & delivery at speed

  • Drive execution across a 10‑person engineering squad (backend, frontend, data/ML) in close partnership with an Engineering Manager.
  • Partner with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager to facilitate agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retros, etc), maintain a clear and prioritized backlog and help remove blockers to keep the team moving.
  • Reprioritize quickly when strategy changes; make “keep/kill/pivot” calls using data and defined criteria.

- Discovery, experimentation & rapid validation

  • Drive customer discovery, usability testing, and hypothesis‑driven experiments; validate problems before scaling solutions.
  • Instrument products for analytics and experimentation; define event standards and A/B test plans.
  • Turn insights into clear PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.

- Cybersecurity, Data, and AI product excellence

  • Cybersecurity: partner with Security to embed best practices (secure defaults, permissioning, auditability) and align to frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Data Engineering: shape telemetry, pipelines, and data contracts in partnership with data platform teams; ensure reliability and cost awareness.
  • AI: define use cases, evaluate model/LLM options, and set success metrics (quality, drift, safety); ensure responsible‑AI guardrails.

- Execution quality & operational maturity

  • Establish product SLOs and observability with Engineering; treat incidents as learning opportunities with clear post‑mortems.
  • Publish release notes, maintain documentation, and drive high‑quality UAT and cutovers.
  • Track delivery and product health with actionable dashboards (adoption, retention, cycle time, defect rates, cost).

- Go‑to‑market & enablement

  • Coordinate demos, enablement sessions, and partner materials with internal teams and the client.
  • Support pricing/packaging recommendations and value cases where applicable.

The top candidate will have the following skills:

  • 6–10+ years of product management, including senior‑level ownership of complex B2B/platform products.
  • Proven success driving prioritization and execution across a software team (~10 developers) to ship high‑quality releases in fast, high‑change environments.
  • Client‑facing product leadership: running QBRs/executive updates, managing scope, and owning outcomes.
  • Hands‑on product execution: PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization frameworks, and roadmap management.
  • Strong technical fluency across at least two of the three domains: Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, AI/ML (able to discuss APIs, data models, and architecture trade‑offs).
  • Analytics‑driven decision making: defines metrics/OKRs, instruments products, and reads dashboards/SQL to guide priorities.
  • Agile delivery expertise (Scrum/Kanban) with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps; comfortable with rapid re‑planning and pivots.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at simplifying complexity and influencing without authority.


Ideally you have...

  • Background in consulting or custom product development with enterprise clients.
  • Exposure to security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001), data governance/privacy (GDPR/CCPA), and MLOps practices.
  • Familiarity with data/AI and security tooling (e.g., Databricks/Snowflake/dbt; SIEM/EDR; feature flags/experimentation).
  • Certifications: CSPO/PSPO, SAFe POPM, or comparable credentials.
