Senior Project Manager, Health Technologies

Huawei Helsinki Sports Science Laboratory is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join us. The position is a key aspect involves serving as the vital communication bridge between R&D teams and all stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and cultures. You will be driving project planning, prioritizing deliverables, and project management. This requires strong technical understanding in machine learning, proven project management expertise, and a passion for health technology. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects in the sports and health technology domain, focusing on wearable sensors and intelligent algorithms.
• Drive feature planning and prioritization in collaboration with product, algorithm, and software teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholders in headquarter.
• Balance scope, priorities, and timelines to deliver maximum value while maintaining project quality and efficiency.
• Act as the primary communication bridge between the Helsinki R&D team and with stakeholders from Huawei headquarter, ensuring smooth and transparent collaboration.
• Evaluate, triage, and coordinate bug reports and feature requests from headquarter-based stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and feedback loops.
• Facilitate agile development practices, supporting continuous improvement in workflow and cross-cultural teamwork.
  
  

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in software or technology product development.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural communication effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Self-driven and structured, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a strong advantage.
• Previous experience or strong passion for sports, health tech, or wearable devices is highly desirable.
