Your responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Help banks, asset managers, and exchanges streamline their operations and enhance settlement efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement innovative strategies for seamless trade processing, clearing, and settlement.
- Post-Trade Excellence: Optimize workflows by improving collateral management, custody, and reconciliation processes to maximize efficiency.
- Regulatory Expertise: Navigate complex regulatory frameworks such as T+1 Settlement, MiFID II, and CSDR, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Digital Transformation: Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to revolutionize settlement processes and operations.
- Target Operating Models: Collaborate with clients to create and implement Target Operating Models (TOM) that address risks, improve efficiency, and strengthen financial market infrastructures.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead workshops, training sessions, and presentations to empower professionals with cutting-edge expertise in settlement and operations.
Your ticket
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field – ideally with a Master’s, MBA, or PhD.
- Industry Expertise: 3–7 years of experience in financial operations, settlement, collateral management, custody, or post-trade services – you have a deep understanding of market mechanisms and infrastructures.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations like T+1 Settlement, MiFID II, CSDR, or Basel III – you understand their practical implications on operations.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset: You are well-versed in automation, AI, blockchain technologies, and their transformative impact on settlement processes.
- Operational Design Skills: Design functional and technical architectures as well as operating models for financial operations – and implementation in practice.
- Project Leadership: You thrive in leading projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
- Fluent in German and English: You can explain complex topics – whether technical or regulatory – in a way that’s easy to understand for various stakeholders.
- Forward-thinking and solution-oriented: You connect the dots and develop smart solutions for complex challenges. Your entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach set you apart – even when working on-site with clients.
