Main Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices built in Go
- Design and implement metrics, logs, and tracing pipelines based on OpenTelemetry specifications and the product needs
- Own our observability stack end to end, from design and implementation to scaling and optimization
- Define and maintain observability best practices across engineering teams, from instrumentation and SLOs to dashboard design and alerting strategies
- Create high-quality technical documentation and standards and help others to adopt new observability practices
- Help teams and stakeholders navigate data and act on insights
- Mentor and support other team members, share knowledge proactively
- Respectfully taking ownership of architecture, design, development, and deployment initiatives
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with senior-level proficiency in Go
- Strong experience with some of the modern observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, LGTM Stack, ELK/OpenSearch, ClickHouse, Fluentbit, Vector, OTel Collector
- Solid understanding of metrics, logs, traces and how to turn these data to actionable insights
- Hands-on experience running and monitoring workloads in Kubernetes clusters
- Passion for building reliable, scalable systems and solving complex distributed systems problems
