Backend Engineer | Senior | Go | Observability

Main Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices built in Go
Design and implement metrics, logs, and tracing pipelines based on OpenTelemetry specifications and the product needs
Own our observability stack end to end, from design and implementation to scaling and optimization
Define and maintain observability best practices across engineering teams, from instrumentation and SLOs to dashboard design and alerting strategies
Create high-quality technical documentation and standards and help others to adopt new observability practices
Help teams and stakeholders navigate data and act on insights
Mentor and support other team members, share knowledge proactively
Respectfully taking ownership of architecture, design, development, and deployment initiatives

Core Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience with senior-level proficiency in Go
Strong experience with some of the modern observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, LGTM Stack, ELK/OpenSearch, ClickHouse, Fluentbit, Vector, OTel Collector
Solid understanding of metrics, logs, traces and how to turn these data to actionable insights
Hands-on experience running and monitoring workloads in Kubernetes clusters
Passion for building reliable, scalable systems and solving complex distributed systems problems

Salary Range:

Gross Salary 6000 - 7200 EUR/Month
