Intecfy is hiring a Senior Python Developer (FastAPI / Django / AI) – Freelance – 100% Remote from Europe. Our client is a Luxembourg-based tech company building next-generation financial and analytics tools designed to automate complex workflows for SMEs and enterprises across Europe.You’ll join a team of 25 experienced engineers and product thinkers who move fast, ship clean code and value autonomy over bureaucracy.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust backend services using FastAPI and/or Django REST Framework
- Develop and maintain scalable APIs for financial and AI-powered modules
- Implement data processing pipelines and integrations with external systems (accounting, payments, analytics)
- Manage databases and caching layers (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance through testing and code reviews
- Work closely with product and frontend teams to define and deliver features
- Minimum +5 years of professional experience in Python backend development
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Django REST Framework
- Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and API design
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Familiar with AI integrations or data workflows (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
- Familiarity with asynchronous Python or microservice architectures
- Great communication skills in English (minimum +B2 level)
- Based in Europe (±2h CET)
