Build software that makes homes cleaner, cheaper and smarter.

At Weheat, we connect thousands of heat pumps to the cloud and turn real-time data into lower energy bills and lower CO₂. As a Backend Engineer you’ll ship scalable .NET services, work hands-on with real devices (from hardware to the cloud), and see your code used by tens of thousands of people and installers.

What you’ll do

• Design & ship robust C# APIs (ASP.NET Core) for our mobile app, installer tools and IoT devices.
• Build data pipelines for real-time telemetry, analytics and diagnostics.
• Scale in Azure: serverless services, microservices and edge processing.
• Raise the bar on security & reliability (authN/Z, encryption, monitoring, CI/CD).
• Collaborate end-to-end with UX/Product Design, Front-end and Firmware/Hardware to deliver device→cloud→app features.

Our stack:

• Languages & Frameworks: C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core, background services).
• Python for data tooling is a plus.
• Data: TimescaleDB (time-series) and MongoDB (NoSQL) + solid SQL.
• Cloud & Architecture: Azure, serverless, edge, microservices, IaC.
• DevOps & Workflow: Docker, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing, observability.
• APIs & Messaging: REST, real-time streams/events. (No GraphQL.)

You’ll fit right in if you…

• Have ~1–4 years of backend experience (or strong projects) with C#/.NET.
• Understand databases (SQL/NoSQL), indexing and clean data models.
• Know the basics of cloud deployment and Docker—or learn quickly.
• Enjoy ownership, clean code and solving tough problems with teammates.
• Are curious, practical, and motivated by real-world impact.
