Engineer MOCVD (m/f) – 100%
In this role, you will expand our Epitaxy department in Zurich.
Your Tasks
- As part of the MOCVD-team you are responsible for the planning and preparation of the growth of GaAs based laser diode structures.
- You coordinate semiconductor material characterization and analysis of results.
- You optimize MOCVD processes focusing on quality and productivity.
- You take part in implementing new soft- and hardware to improve the fabrication process.
- You participate in production and R&D projects.
- You are part of a trouble-shooting team with periodical on-call service
- You hold a university degree (Master or PhD) in physics, electro-engineering or a comparable technical major.
- You worked with MOCVD systems for fabrication of III-V materials.
- You have experience in semiconductor lasers including physics, their manufacturing, and applications.
- Ideally, you have knowledge in laser physics, vacuum technology and characterization of III-V semiconductor layers.
- Your expertise in programming would be an advantage (i.e. Python, LabView, SQL).
- Your very good written and spoken German and English skills allow you to efficiently communicate at any level of the organization.
- You are a results-oriented personality with initiative.
