Social Media Manager – Part time

Join a dynamic civic-tech NGO at the intersection of art, design, and digital innovation, dedicated to transforming public memory into verifiable stories on the blockchain. This part-time role focuses on expanding the organization’s presence on X (Twitter) and Facebook, engaging diverse audiences in both English and Finnish, and supporting community-driven initiatives that blend activism, technology, and culture. You will collaborate closely with a creative team to craft compelling narratives, foster online engagement, and help build a vibrant digital community that champions transparency and civic participation.

Deliverables

• Develop and execute monthly content calendars for X and Facebook, tailored to cultural and civic engagement themes.
• Create and schedule engaging posts in English and Finnish (Swedish is a plus), ensuring alignment with the NGO’s mission and voice.
• Monitor, moderate, and respond to community interactions, fostering a positive and inclusive online environment.
• Track engagement metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize content strategy.
• Collaborate with team members to support campaign launches, events, and digital storytelling initiatives.
• Utilize tools such as Canva and Meta Business Suite for content creation and scheduling.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media channels, particularly X (Twitter) and Facebook, for organizations or cultural projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English; proficiency in Finnish or Swedish is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative, community-oriented content and storytelling approaches.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and analytics tools.
• Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or Helsinki-based setting.
