Java Backend Developer – Remote (Poland)

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance backend services.
• Work hands-on with Java 17, Spring ecosystem, and microservices architectures.
• Build and integrate systems on AWS using S3, SQS, and SNS.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Collaborate on API design (REST & gRPC) following a contract-first approach.
• Optimize performance with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Ensure observability through Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Kibana.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong command of Java 17 and advanced Java concepts (multithreading, collections, design patterns).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with Spring WebFlux or Vert.x for reactive programming.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, cloud, and containerization best practices.
• A team player who communicates clearly and takes ownership from idea to impact.
