ML Engineer (Computer Vision+Forecasting) | GT

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an ML Engineer (Computer Vision + Forecasting) | GT in Europe.

We are seeking a skilled ML Engineer with expertise in computer vision, forecasting, or both, to work on diverse, high-impact AI projects. You will design, train, and deploy machine learning models that solve practical problems using image, video, and time-series data. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, optimizing predictive models, and collaborating closely with data, product, and cloud engineering teams. You will have the opportunity to contribute to PoC development, participate in discovery phases, and influence the implementation of AI solutions across multiple domains. This remote position provides exposure to innovative projects across industries such as healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, and life sciences.

Accountabilities:

• Design, train, and deploy ML models for computer vision and forecasting tasks
• Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Develop and optimize predictive models for time-series data using Prophet, ARIMA, LSTM, TimeGPT, or similar frameworks
• Work with event-driven architectures, including Kinesis, Kafka, or equivalents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient AI solutions
• Participate in proof-of-concept development, presenting results and recommendations to stakeholders
  
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning or Data Science
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with computer vision tools and frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or AWS Rekognition
• Background in forecasting and time-series modeling (Prophet, ARIMA/SARIMA, TimeGPT, XGBoost, or similar)
• Cloud experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with real-time data pipelines or stream processing
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of defining requirements and driving strategic impact. Nice-to-have: Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, or vector databases; experience developing PoC or production AI systems; understanding of cost optimization and latency reduction in cloud ML setups
