System Security Administrator

Mad Parfumeur is one of the leading players in the Turkish perfume and cosmetics industry. We are currently seeking an experienced System Security Administrator to join our dynamic team in Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, or a related field,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in system administration, server infrastructure, and network management,
• Expertise in managing on-prem physical and virtual infrastructure (servers, storage, switches, firewalls, UPS, racks, etc.),
• Strong hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V,
• Proficient in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems,
• Experienced in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server, and IIS administration,
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online / Teams management,
• Familiar with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route53,
• Experienced in SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) for software deployment and client management,
• Hands-on experience with WSUS patch and update management,
• Proficient in managing backup infrastructures such as Veeam Backup & Replication and HPE StoreOnce,
• Experience with VPN, PAM (Privileged Access Management), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) systems,
• Scripting and automation skills, primarily using PowerShell,
• Strong documentation, planning, and project management skills,
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience managing firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, and SIEM solutions,
• High sense of responsibility and ownership, with flexibility to provide off-hours support when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the availability, performance, and security of on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructures,
• Administer and maintain VMware / Hyper-V environments, including resource allocation and capacity planning,
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems,
• Manage Active Directory, Exchange, O365, VPN, and PAM environments, ensuring access control and data security,
• Design, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies, keeping them up to date,
• Oversee SCCM and WSUS operations for patching, updates, and endpoint management,
• Manage Veeam and StoreOnce backup and replication operations,
• Administer AWS resources and ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud environments,
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and network traffic; provide optimization recommendations,
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects while maintaining comprehensive documentation,
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with SLA and security requirements,
• Track and manage IT assets, licenses, warranties, and maintenance contracts,
• Provide technical support during audits and internal control processes,
• Manage alerting and monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG, CloudWatch, Grafana),
• Enforce IT security and data protection policies in alignment with corporate standards,
• Administer firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, and DLP systems; conduct log correlation and incident analysis,
• Collaborate with security teams during penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and patch management activities,
• Ensure compliance with information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and local data protection laws (e.g., KVKK).
