What you will do

• Design and improve SOC capabilities for private and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead detection development, threat hunting, and incident response for cloud-native workloads.
• Advise on and implement security architecture and monitoring for Kubernetes and CNAPP environments.
• Integrate SOC tools across Microsoft, Amazon, and Google platforms.
• Collaborate with internal security teams to strengthen detection engineering and automation (SOAR).
• Analyze incidents and contribute to continuous improvement of cloud security operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal and national security standards for critical infrastructure.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in SOC operations, cloud security, or security architecture.
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native security, and CNAPP.
• Strong understanding of threat actors and attack techniques in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with SOC and SOAR tools (Microsoft, AWS, Google).
• Demonstrated experience handling security incidents end-to-end.
• Ability to work independently in complex, mission-critical setups.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
• Eligible for Norwegian security clearance (minimum K).
