As we continue to scale our business, both commercially and technically, we are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Security Lead to take ownership of our security strategy and implementation across our AI cloud offering. This is a hybrid role that combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership and customer-facing engagement. You will be front and center in shaping, delivering and communicating our security offering, from technical architecture and information security management and compliance to customer trust and public representation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the holistic security design and measures across the Telenor AI factory operation, including ISMS, AI cloud infrastructure and development services, Kubernetes and APIs.
  • Own and evolve our security offering, from technical controls to customer-facing messaging.
  • Ensure compliance with key frameworks and regulations e.g. NIS2, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, etc.
  • Develop and manage our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting onboarding, architecture reviews and sales processes.
  • Represent Telenor AI Factory at events, panels and in public forums about security and sovereignty.
  • Collaborate with the tech and business development resources to embed security and sovereignty into platform development.
  • Collaborate with partners to align security implementations and influence their security roadmap.
  • Drive innovation areas like confidential computing, zero-trust architecture and secure model development.

Who are we looking for?

  • Solid experience in cloud and infrastructure security, ideally in AI/ML or GPU-based environments.
  • Strong technical skills in Kubernetes, IAM, KMS, encryption, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm).
  • Familiarity with sovereign cloud principles and secure data residency.
  • Experience with security certifications and frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, CSA STAR).
  • Experience with Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with customers and speak at events.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to implement and lead.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
