Job Summary:

As a Cisco Network and Security Consulting Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for supporting network and security solutions for various enterprise customers. Candidate’s expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), Email Security Gateway, Campus Networking (Catalyst) and Data Center Networking (Nexus) platforms will be crucial in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation: Develop and implement network and security solutions using Cisco technologies, including ISE, FTD, and Email Security Gateway.
• Routing and Switching: Configure and manage routing and switching solutions on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms to ensure optimal network performance.
• Security Management: Implement and manage security policies and controls to protect network infrastructure and data.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their business needs.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and solutions provided to clients.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: Cisco certifications such as CCIE Security, CCNP Enterprise, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience: 5+ years experience working on Cisco Networking and Security technologies with Enterprise customers preferably Banking and Financial sector.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cisco ISE, FTD, Email Security Gateway Products. Good knowledge of routing and switching, Nexus, and Catalyst platforms.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, working with Cisco TAC and Business Units.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
