Our client, is a financial services Fintech service provider, is undertaking an E-Transfer Gateway Modernization initiative focused on re-architecting and improving five key customer flows. We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer with deep expertise in Angular and TypeScript to join the delivery team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building modular, testable, and scalable applications, while collaborating closely with back-end developers, architects, and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Implement modular, scalable architecture leveraging the NX library for code structuring and maintainability.
  • Apply Redux (NgRx) for effective state management and predictable application behavior.
  • Write, maintain, and execute automated unit and integration tests using JEST.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and business analysts to modernize and enhance five existing customer flows as part of the E-Transfer Gateway Modernization program.
  • Solve complex technical problems, ensuring performance, scalability, and security are built into the front-end design.
  • Translate technical concepts into clean, maintainable, and expressive code.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with APIs, middleware, and back-end services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong focus on Angular (v10 or later).
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and component-based architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Redux/NgRx for state management.
  • Strong background in unit testing and test automation using JEST (or similar frameworks).
  • Experience with NX (Nrwl) library to design modular, maintainable codebases.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex UI workflows in financial or enterprise systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working on payments, e-Transfer, or banking modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 or financial messaging standards.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
