Sea group is seeking research engineers to join Sea AI Lab (SAIL). SAIL focuses on fundamental research and application research on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which include deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, natural language processing, etc. A research engineer will collaborate closely with research scientists on research projects, where the team proposes new ideas, develop prototypes and conduct experiments. A research engineer will focus on complex algorithm implementation and scale up of the models. We are hiring at all levels. Job Description:
- Collaborate with research scientists at the implementation and optimization of the research code;
- Scale up deep learning models via distributed computing;
- Develop reusable libraries for research and engineering projects;
- Develop and optimize code for potential product applications;
- General engineering support for the research team;
- Interact with broader open-sourced community on AI fields;
- Bachelor's degree or higher (PhD is preferred) in AI related fields;
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, etc;
- Experienced in deep learning frameworks, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX;
- Experienced in development tools including version control systems, build systems, code review tools, etc;
- (Preferred) Academic or industry expertise (3+ years) in one or more related areas;
- (Preferred) An active contributor on open source projects;
- (Preferred) Publications on AI conferences and journals;
- (Preferred) Medals in programming competitions like ACM-ICPC regional contests.
