Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and manage load balancers such as F5 BIG-IP, including SSL offloading and traffic optimization.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot network routing and switching using Cisco (IOS/Nexus), Juniper, or Arista platforms with strong understanding of OSPF, BGP, and VLANs.
  • Configure and support next-generation firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet) for both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Support cloud network security and connectivity, including Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall, and WAF implementation.
  • Administer VPN and remote access solutions, ensuring secure site-to-site and user connections (Cisco AnyConnect, GlobalProtect).
  • Monitor and optimize network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios, ensuring timely incident resolution.
  • Implement and tune intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS) to protect network integrity and respond to security alerts.
  • Assist in software-defined networking (SDN, SD-WAN) implementation and controller-based network management.
  • Support network automation and hardening efforts, leveraging scripting tools (Python, Ansible) and following CIS security standards.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise network design, implementation, and operations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, including SD-WAN, ACI, and Nexus switching.
  • Proficiency with load balancing and application delivery controllers (F5, Citrix ADC, NGINX, or HAProxy).
  • Experience managing firewalls such as Check Point, Palo Alto, or Fortinet, with solid understanding of zero-trust architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices for change and incident management.
  • Strong grasp of network protocols and security standards, including IPSec, SSL/TLS, 802.1x, NAC, and TACACS+.
  • Professional certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent is required.
