Job Purpose

Responsible for producing daily and weekly reports. Providing a daily brief to clients. Advising the Project Security Manager on any threats pertaining to the services being provided.

Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off

Tasks And Responsibilities


  • Develop a thorough understanding of the demographics, networks, and political affiliations in Ukraine and the operating area.
  • Analytical Reporting and Briefings, produce written reports, spot updates, and visual intelligence products (e.g., maps, infographics, dashboards) for Embassy leadership, project management, produce daily and weekly reports for the client.
  • Work closely Operations Manager to produce Security Risk Assessments.
  • Maintain currency of incident databases and input data in a consistent and timely way.
  • Establish, develop and maintain security information contacts in Ukraine.
  • Oversee and sign off all journey management pertaining to PT operations in support of clients.
  • Utilize existing sources of information and resources to support consultancy enquiries for clients, including the production of bespoke reports.
  • Advise and facilitate the production of specific mapping and overlay products as directed.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on air raid alerts
  • Conduct location risk assessments
  • Threat monitoring and detection, continuously monitor networks, systems and applications.
  • Risk Analysis, evaluate potential risks to organizational assets, assess threat likelihood and impact, and recommend mitigation strategies aligned with the organization's risk appetite.
  • Emergency and Crisis Response Support, assist the Project Security Manager and Operations Managers during crisis events by providing real-time intelligence inputs, mapping updates, and situation summaries to support rapid decision-making and effective client communication.
  • Data and Information Management, maintain accurate databases and intelligence logs, ensuring all data (e.g., incidents, alerts, contacts, maps) are updated, stored securely, and retrievable for audit or review.
  • Collaboration with Operations and Management, work closely with the Project Security Manager Operations Managers, and Close Protection Officers to align intelligence outputs with operational requirements and support effective 24/7 security coverage.


Requirements

Knowledge and experience

Essential


  • Good interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to liaise with relevant sources and agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills in database management, mapping and presentations.
  • Experience and knowledge of security in Ukraine, Eastern Europe and Russia.
  • Experience in Threat Assessment and Risk Management best practice
  • As part of a flexible team, a willingness to take on tasks outside your core competence.
  • Experience working in complex regulatory environments.


Preferred


  • Previous experience in HRMS.
  • Previous experience in Ukraine.
  • Previous experience in hostile environment.


Essential

Qualifications and specialist skills


  • Experience operating under pressure or in a high-risk environment.
  • Previous experience in a hostile environment.


Preferred


  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Previous commercial operational experience as a threat analyst in Ukraine.
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian / Russian.
  • Threat/ risk report writing.
