We are currently looking for an experienced Senior 3D Artist to work remotely, in-house, to deliver great-looking, photorealistic assets for AAA games of different genres.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of high-quality assets with given references and requirements
- Match the required art style of a project
- Optimize of finished objects in accordance with the specified technical limitations
- Cooperate with other artists to streamline the art creation process
- Work with the team lead to create a plan and schedule
- Good understanding of composition and lighting
- Good knowledge of gameplay and level design
- Strong knowledge of 3dsMax, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag
- Strong modeling and texturing skills
- Ability to rationally distribute polycount at the facility
- Understanding different UV types (tiles, rectangular, UDIM)
- Good understanding of PBR pipelines for texturing
- Understanding vertex paint workflow in 3ds Max
- Ability to follow and correctly interpret the concept
- Ability to create 3D models from a photo, a drawing
- Knowledge of modern pipelines and technical limitations for assets creation
- Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills
- Good organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with a game development cycle
- Knowledge of Houdini, blueprints in UE5, Unity, Maya/Blender, Substance Designer
- Work with game engines (Unity, EU5)
- Ability to communicate in English
