Software Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, design and build a transformative dev-ex for thousands of Search developers. We need Tech leads who effectively challenge status-quo and has the knack of working backwards from the Developer customers.
• Solve problems with increased level of ambiguity.
• Build platform systems that scale for Search product's needs.
• Appreciate the challenges that come with building a developer facing offering.
• Be a team-multiplier who can technically guide a strong engineering team.
