User Experience Designer

🚀 We’re hiring! UX/UI Designer | Financial Services | Birmingham/Hybrid | 6 Month contract 🚀

I’m working with my UK based financial services client to find a talented UX/UI Designer to join their growing digital team on an initial 6 month contract. You must be local to Birmingham as they need you onsite 2 days per week.

If you’re passionate about designing intuitive, human-centered experiences and want to make a real impact in the financial services space, this could be a fantastic next step.

🔍 What you’ll do:

- Own the end-to-end design process, leading UX/UI across the full product lifecycle

- Translate complex financial concepts into simple, elegant experiences

- Work collaboratively in cross-functional squads and with third-party partners

- Use qualitative and quantitative insights (user testing, interviews, analytics) to inform design decisions

- Design responsive, accessible UI components aligned to brand and design system

- Create low and high fidelity prototypes in Figma – gathering feedback early and often

💡 What we’re looking for:

- Proven experience in financial services digital design

- Confident user of Figma and Figma Make

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
