We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery within our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, experience in managing cross-functional teams (onsite and offshore), and preferably a background in the insurance or financial services domain. You will be responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects involving data engineers, data architects, and analysts.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery within our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, experience in managing cross-functional teams (onsite and offshore), and preferably a background in the insurance or financial services domain. You will be responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects involving data engineers, data architects, and analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of data-centric projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Manage full project lifecycle initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using Agile and Scrum practices.
- Coordinate between onsite and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across time zones.
- Drive daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog management.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Business Analysts to define requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and resources while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project reporting to senior management.
- Foster continuous improvement and Agile best practices across the delivery team.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven experience managing data-related projects (data migration, data warehouse, analytics, or cloud data platform initiatives).
- Prior exposure to the insurance or financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and hands-on experience as Scrum Master or Agile PM.
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams (onsite/offshore) effectively.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
- Experience working in regulated industries (insurance, banking, or financial services).
- Familiarity with modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance principles.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
