Web Designer – Contract (Remote)

This role is ideal for a creative web designer with a passion for music and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for designing a professional and visually engaging website for an independent musician and music producer. The site will serve as a digital portfolio, showcasing musical achievements, projects, and career highlights. The goal is to create an online presence that authentically reflects the artist’s identity and supports their professional growth. The project is fully remote and requires a designer who can deliver a polished, user-friendly site that is easy to update and maintain.

Deliverables

• Design and develop a responsive website tailored to the musician’s brand and artistic vision
• Create visually appealing layouts for portfolio, achievements, and project sections
• Integrate audio and video content to highlight musical works and performances
• Ensure seamless navigation and an intuitive user experience across devices
• Implement a content management system for easy updates by the client
• Optimize site for fast loading times and search engine visibility

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing websites for creative professionals, preferably in the music or entertainment sector
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web design, UX/UI, and multimedia integration

• Ability to translate artistic concepts into compelling digital experiences
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
