About the job:
We are looking for motivated Data Engineers to join our team of talented consultants working on challenging projects. As an ALTEN consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of the following activities :
- Manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets for data analytics.
- Perform extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into downstream systems (applications, warehouses, or data lakes).
- Support data scientists and analysts by enabling efficient data workflows.
- Focus on data-centric roles, particularly in financial institutions.
Your profile :
- You have proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in data modeling, ETL frameworks (e.g., Talend, Informatica), and data warehousing concepts.
- You have good communication skills in English and French (B2)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python preferred), SQL, and big data query tools (e.g., Hive, NoSQL).
- Strong knowledge of data security standards, UNIX/server administration, and batch/real-time processing frameworks.
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, R, Python) and workflow automation.
- Excellent communication, business acumen, and experience in financial services.
- Advanced degree (M.Sc./Ph.D.) in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering preferred.
